
“Zhitnitsa” is an innovative flour grade,
introduced by PAVA. It is a fundamentally
new product of grain processing that retains
all valuable elements naturally stored in wheat
kernel, thus preserving health-giving properties
of grain.
Altay grain processor focuses continuous effort on product range improvement, which is in keeping with the growing popularity of healthy nutrition products. The company has presented a new type of wheat flour, manufactured under "Zhitnitsa” brand, which is enhanced with a rich mix of nutrients.
100 grams of “Zhitnitsa” contain sufficient amount of vitamins B1, B2 and iron to satisfy the daily allowance; it is significantly high in fibre and has an increased antioxidant level due to presence of tocopherol. This ensures its nutraceutical qualities and efficacy in fighting most challenging health problems, such as cancer, cardiovascular and endocrine diseases.

Innovative flour products by PAVA have attracted significant interest both in Russia and overseas. Customers from Central Asia have noted excellent performance of “Zhitnitsa” in cooking national dishes, such as “matnakash” and “lavash” pancakes.
“Zhitnitsa” is manufactured by all PAVA production branches – Rebrikha, Achinsk and Mikhailovsky milling plants. It is marketed as an option for bakers to diversify their assortment on a cost-effective basis. PAVA also partners the UNO World Food Programme, positioning the Altay flour as an available quality product and a solution to food security issue in developing countries.
