PAVA took part in Winter Grain Conference in Belokurikha

PAVA (www.apkhleb.ru), the largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East, participated in Winter Grain Conference which was held in Belokurkha, on February 20-22. The main subject of the forum was discussion of grain market development and prices for grain in the global crisis environment.

Attending the “Grain Davos” A. Zlochevsky, President of Russian Grain Union; D. Rylko, General Director of Institute for Agricultural market studies; E. Serov, Chief Advisor of the UN FAO International Investment Centre and V.Petrichenko, General Director of ProZerno Ltd. presented analysis of the current grain market situation. It says that today the vital point for both grain producers and processors is to determine the right checkpoints.

In connection with this, PAVA developed an action plan which will allow to concentrate on the relevant pricing policy, distribution and further co-operation with Altay grain growers as well as partners from the European part of the country who already act as reliable suppliers”, commented Angela Kiseleva, PAVA Commercial Director.
