OJSC “TransAgro Corporation”

OJSC “TransAgro Corporation” has a stable position on the Russian market of grain trading as well as handling, storage and shipping of cereal crops. “TransAgro” includes four grain-receiving structural units: Chemrovsk, Aleisk and Pankrushikha enterprises (the Altay Territory) and Irbeisk in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. They are equipped with grain processing facilities and developed infrastructure for providing high-quality services in grain drying, handling and storage.

Besides grain crops, the company produces and distributes cereals and wheat flour.

All “TransAgro” enterprises are equipped with own feeder roads and railway access, which facilitates shipping grain and grain processing products by railroad.

Aggregate daily grain receiving capacity – 2,700 MT/day
Capacity for loading grain into railcars and motor transport – 2,700 MT/day

Moreover, the company has contracts for using warehouses and grain loaders on a number of Altay and Krasnoyarsk enterprises.

“TransAgro” has solid experience in grain trading nationwide and its yearly grain turnover exceeds 200,000 MT. The main customers are located in Siberia, and partnerships are established with companies of Ural and Central federal districts. Today, European part of the country and the Far East are targeted.

“TransAgro” enterprises have been certified for storing grain of the state intervention fund. Silos of Pankrushikha and Chemrovsk store 20,000 MT of intervention grain from 2008 crop. In 2009, another 30,000 MT will be placed by “TransAgro” in 2009.

Chemrovsk enterprise

Chemrovsk grain-receiving enterprise (the Altay Territory) is located in the area which grows a wide range of agricultural crops: wheat, rye, oats, peas, sunflower seed and others.

The company has signed contracts for grain supplies with large agricultural producers, and developed efficient co-operation patterns providing prompt delivery.

Aggregate daily grain receiving capacity – 500 MT

Chemrovsk enterprise specializes in processing peas and production of peas cereal. It uses modern equipment, manufacturing and packaging up to 150,000 MT of cereal per month.

The enterprise provides services in grain drying, handling and storage.

The regional department has experience of shipping grain and cereals to Middle Asian countries and leading food manufacturers in Siberia.

In 2009, “TransAgro” completed basic repair of Chemrovsk storage facilities.

Pankrushikha enterprise

Pankrushikha grain-receiving enterprise has largest grain storing capacities within the “TransAgro” structure. It is located in the area where crop prices are lowest which enables large-scale shipments of prime quality grain.

High-gluten wheat is the main crop grown in the Pankrushikha and nearby districts. Favourable climate and effective farming techniques help maintain bumper crops.

Contracts for sourcing crop have been signed with the largest grain growers of the Altay Territory and Novosibirsk region.

Favourable geographic position allows to sell grain at competitive prices to all Siberian regions.

Grain processing capacity – 50 MT/day
Own car fleet providing transportation of 100 MT of grain per day

Pankrushikha enterprise operates a wheat processing mill (daily capacity – 50 MT of grain).

All storage facilities are in excellent technical condition.

Aleisk enterprise

Aleisk grain-receiving enterprise is located in the Aleisk district of the Altay Territory, which grows high quality wheat, rich in gluten.

An important advantage of the department is large receiving and loading capacities. The contracts with local growers for sourcing grain improve the time efficiency for order fulfillment.

Aggregate daily grain receiving capacity – 700 MT

Aleisk grain-receiving enterprise specializes in shipping and grading of sunflower seed. Up-to-date German equipment allows to handle large amounts of the crop. Shipments are made of both graded and oil-type sunflower seed.

Aleisk regional department ships cereal grains to most regions of Russia. Deliveries are fulfilled in prompt regime.

Annual maintenance services, which are part of a major modernization programme, help keep up the warehouses in good working condition.

Irbeisk enterprise

Irbeisk grain-receiving enterprise is located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, in major wheat, oats and rye growing area.

Capacity for loading grain into railcars and motor transport – 1,000 MT
Aggregate daily grain receiving capacity – 1,000 MT

The department offers services in grain drying, handling and storage.
