Seeking further development opportunities, OJSC PAVA has arranged to diversify its processing business into areas characterized by nascent growth, in addition to highly competitive milling sector. The company launched a new advanced processing project that will be implemented by an SPC “Grainvest”, based on PAVA’s flour milling facilities in the Rebrikha district.
It is aimed on the output of high-value added products, such as VWG, starches, syrups, industrial alcohol, compound animal feed, liquid CO2 and others. The plant's design will incorporate leading-edge technologies and create synergies from integrating traditionally independent manufacturing processes, such as a flour mill, a gluten plant, starch plant and alcohol plant. This unique integration will allow the byproducts of one process to be utilized as feedstock for the next process.
Customers from Russia and abroad have already placed preliminary orders for the total volume which indicates that this project is a timely move to support the needs of growing end-use markets. Global demand for value-added wheat-based products has risen dramatically, besides there is high volume of expensive imported wheat ingredients in Russia.
The company gets significant support from the government, which now assists the development of agriculture by implementing national projects. Along with other factors, such as exceptional quality of Altay grain, this will ensure the company’s increasing role in the industry and global competitiveness.
